Music Volume tied to Cannon hit and Death Tone

  • As the title suggests, in volume settings the music volume is tied to cannon tone, death tone, and even the fort horn/new wave noise. It would be a really amazing quality of life update to add these sounds to the SFX volume or even new sound category so that these sounds can be raised without having to blast the game music as well.

Ideally, there should be a separate slider for "audio cues" that includes these sounds.

  • @realstyli I agree this would be the best fix

    Agreed.

  • This is an underrated issue. I 100% agree that it needs to moved to sound effects.

  • Bumping this thread.

This is even more annoying to me than hit reg.

I would like to listen to my music without overlapping audio, since the game can have some lulls in-between action. However, having to go into my settings every time a fight arises gets old. Very old.

Splitting cannon music, player kill sound effect, and boss wave music would be such a great quality of life change.

I have thousands of hours in this game, I don’t need to hear the same boss music over and over.

  • Ahoy @a-viking-death !

Bumping old threads goes against our Forum rules. I will be dropping anchor here.

    Thanks!
