If players are in a fight in Adventure. Turn off nearby PvE. Meaning no Kraken, no Megaladon, no Skeleton ships.
When there's PvP. Turn off PvE

This guy got it.
Without things that make a game exciting, it just empty.
I get your problem. Having an intense fight with an even crew and suddenly getting yeeted by a skelly galeon shoting anchorballs and only focusing you is really frustrating. But trust me it is so much more fun when there is some RNG you can´t controll. No fight feels like the other.
PS: The best thing is when the enemy ship wich is running away for an hour is getting krakend. Trust me.

No! Fights getting spiced up are fun

No one actually likes it and it causes tooth decay?

No one? How can you talk for others? Or did you ask everybody that plays this game?
At the very least they should turn off spawns inside of world events such as Flameheart. Solo slooping flame heart, fighting a brig simultaneously and I get a skeleton ship and then meg.
Fortunately flameheart took out the skele ship and I sank the brig by boarding but I sank also since Meg was terrorizing me...
