There isn't many things I dislike about the game but one thing I absolutely despise is the megalodon encounters.
I don't know if its just me but the encounters are slowly sucking the fun out of the game. They often feel like just boring reminders that you can kill it if you want, or sometimes the meg just randomly decides to bite your ship and then go away.
But then, there are the times when it's just broken and glitching out or just charging your ship constantly. And when I solo there's just no time to repair my ship and also shoot at the meg you can hardly see between the waves, which is so frustrating.
I don't know if others feel like this but for me, the Megalodon encounters just end up feeling broken, unpredictable and frustrating interruptions in an otherwise fun voyage.

The last time a Megalodon attack was hard, was when it originally attacked a galleon. Those are a pain on a solo-sloop.As for Megs going away, either sail back to where she attacked you or just sail a bit slowly, in my experience it respawns.
