Gold is losing its value.

    I liked buying cosmetics for a time, but now I don't have a desire to run normal voyages for any reason anymore. I bought everything, i understand most haven't, but wouldn't it be nice if we had other things to buy with gold? Supplies, cursed cannonballs or something? I feel like there needs to be other purposes for gold other than just other skins for the same items I already have. Does anyone else feel the same way?

    I've made almost a half a million with my crew this week. And only a small portion came from actual voyages. Weve fought countless megs, krakens, and especially skeleton ships we almost never fight them the same way. We've taken several gold forts down whereas before we stayed away from them. Suddenly it's either a fight amongst players, or helping each other.... so more to spend money on? Sure. I'm sure there will be more down the road. But I feel that these days something different will hit you everytime you set sail, that alone is worth it to us. I think there will be more ship cosmetics, clothes. All of it eventually. Just not sure what

    I haven't bought everything. It sounds more like a content complaint. You want to buy a crate of 50 bananas at a Merchant for 2500 gold? "Something?" piece seems like you're bored.

    I want a personal page it looks like a secret cave and it starts empty. Then i can choose to store gold from ingame to my treasure cave. Then when i look at my cave there is a small pile of gold .. i need more so i play and gather gold and again store it in my cave.. slowly the pile of gold will grow filling my personal treasure cave :") also put in them mermaid gems because they look so nice

    great idea, like a bank .. i personally own everything there is to purchase in game and have a few million to spare ..

    I’ve often wished we could have a player-run economy in Sea of Thieves, with the ability to buy and trade items and gold. But I fear it just wouldn’t work in the world as it exists now. Maybe someday.
