why? i was only able to play it for 2 day, i had to figure it out how to play if i preordere already (xbox).
@yellowyscroll10 My hype got downhill after the whole aggressive PVP, i wont even pre-order, this whole toxic pirates mess is the less thing i want to spend money.

It would give more people a chance to play and would mean you can get four of your friends on rather than the lucky 1 or 2 that got the closed beta
@thurss21 it is normal its a pirate game. if theres no pvp it would make the game lame as [Mod edited]
I spent a good amount of time (55 hours 3 minutes) with the Closed Beta, therefore it may be swaying my decision. I hope they don't do an Open Beta for the simple fact that we're so close to launch. I'd rather the developers focus on getting everything right for launch than deal with the stress of another Beta. Sure, some didn't get to play, but that only makes you want it that much more! If the price seems too steep for the risk of purchasing, there's always the Xbox Game Pass option!

@thurss21 I think the main reason for the "extra" PVP was because there was such limited content during the closed beta. I hit max rank with the gold hoarders on just my second day playing. After that, I went on adventures with my crew and helped new players along the way. I honestly believe that launch will be different, as there will be more adventures to go on with your crew and less incentive to "kill on sight", though it is an online game with PVP, so you definitely won't escape it.
Down vote on the open beta it makes the beta less special if you didnt get to play the beta that was likely your choice to either not make the time or not preorder. You could always cancel your preorder if you like after the beta was finished. As others said above please developers just focus on the game and not another beta. There is so much good information in the posts on the forum that could be potential add-ons to the game to make it all that much better and a beta is not one of those things after you already did one that was almost a week long.
@reptilsx Hey! , yea some people didnt get to spend alot of time on it since alot of people came to late! :/ , so let's hope for an open beta!
@ghostlyskilow Hey! , yea i know , it would be great if everyone got an chance to try it out like! :) , and you can play with your mates since it's open beta! :d , I havent even tried it out yet since i didnt get the chance to play closed beta :/
@reptilsx yea pvp is a great way of making the game even more fun , but you know whats better? , pve & pvp at the same time :d

@shadowstrider-7 i mean yea it's a good point im with you on that one! :) , but it would still be great if they had an 1-2 day open beta for the people that never got the chance of trying it out :) ,
@yellowyscroll10 I get where you're coming from, but March is just around the corner. With Sea Of Thieves being added to Game Pass, there's no reason everyone can't afford it.

@yellowyscroll10 That's why I suggested Game Pass. It's 10 USD per month and includes over 170 titles. That's a great alternative to buying the game for 60 USD.

Yeah but that would also make the "reward" of getting closed beta access for pre-orders pretty irrelevant and cheapen the "inclusive" feeling. You're asking to play an open-beta because you pretty much aren't committed to purchase or don't have the money to do so. To me, that's not a good enough reason. You didn't get into the insider program under the cut off date, you didn't pre-order. That's little investment if any into Rare's program and development. I doubt they'll oblige your request.
But hey, wait for the third week of March, watch it streamed on twitch, or youtube and make you decision then!

@thisisdiree may I ask why you think this? If anything, all another Beta would do is draw resources away from time that could be better spent finishing and polishing the game before launch day.
