Me and one of my mateys were sailing a sloop, and we completed a fotd a brig rolled up on us and It was a fair fight until the kraken spawned. My crewmate and I jumped on the other brig and decided to kill it, and we killed it within like 20 seconds? The kraken is a mythical beast that used to terrify people, now it's way easier than a meg idk guys I just want people to actually fear the kraken again it's way too easy

True. But in the past, players complain it was "too difficult, mainly small crews." So they made it easy, based on crew size.
Any attempt to "make it dangerous" is always met with To too strong, it to hard, so bad!, quit game.
Just be happy it even spawns...I havnt seen it in mostly a year now.
Yeah, but now new players can see the rare kraken, but they dont learn to fear it. I feel like the stories you hear about the kraken always stand out more than the actual thing happening. I do have legendary Kraken Hunter, but back in like 2020, it was way harder than now. I'm just a bit disappointed yknow. I want a legendary beast to be feared, not some silly chance encounter that's pretty easy. I'm not saying it should be unbeatable, just a bit harder, not 2-3 tentacles to kill it on a sloop and 7-8 in a galleon, maybe like 4-6 for sloop and 10-12 on galleon, something pretty hard but also scary when it decides to attack, idk I'm not a dev, just a squid lover.
