Out of bounds pvp sink

  • This is the second time happening today. My crew disabled and anchored a brig out of the pvp circle. We killed the crew, got their supplies waiting for the hourglass to explode and their boat to sink. All 3 of us stood on their boat for 10 mins, fighting the crew and preventing them from raising the anchor. Their hourglass was cracking like crazy, yet they still didn't sink. One of my crewmates had to bring our ship around and waste cannonballs until they sunk.

In my opinion the issue with the out of bounds sea is that the ships get no damage at all for a very long time. Should we have similar laws for the out bound as for the red sea? Why a ship can stay for such a prolonged time in that area?

  • The out of bounds area is just a warning. You have to sail the ship a little bit further for it to sink, meaning it's counterproductive to anchor. Also keep in mind that the crew who loses for out of bound reason is not getting any pity reputation.

  • So... why'd you triple board? Why'd you anchor them?

If the aesthetic of leaving the boarders were more like the Devil's Shroud, I'd understand this complaint, but it's not, and it would take some necessary experimentation to know how the battle boarders work, regardless of ship size. Even the trailer said "going too far out" not "staying in their too long".

What is the point of the out of bounds warning if nothing happens?

These dudes were a full square outside of the circle. How far out of bounds is too far?
