Would be neat to have more half masks that take up the beard slot like Blades mask here

Indeed fellow Pirate. Would be fun to get and could make some of the cool ones achievement based.
Reapers mask would be cool, I would just be waiting for a Skeleton Mask to use with Ghost Eyepatch
Well sorta but does make sense. You can't see your beard when wearing a mask so makes sense just to make it a beard option rather than making a new slot.

Well, if they intended to add new masks, what if I wanted a Zorro or super-hero style mask that only covers the eyes? Those wouldn't cover a beard.
Ok well then they would have to add a slot mask for that unless they can just use the Eye patch slot for it.

But then you'll have masks in 2 cosmetic slots? That's sloppy! If they're going to go that route, they'd have to rename the slots based off body parts, like head, eyes, mouth, torso, legs, etc.
Well thats the only way if you want Mask slots since it might need more work then its worth compared to making certain masks fill in existing slots.
Also have to take in the fact that lot of people are not really interested in mask features so using the exisitng slots would be easier on the dev team and have a higher possibility of actually getting masks through this way.

If the Captaincy update was any indication, pirates can wait for certain features. Masks can simply be 1 of them. I personally don't mind waiting if it's done right.
Very true, I just hope we get masks like the Night one at some point.
Would like to see a morph were we can be skeletons but keep out cosmetics on.

@galactic-geek sorry, I reread your original comment, and yea, I agree a mask slot is a good idea. A lot of hair styles, especially the longer ones, have an alternative model for certain hats/jackets, no reason they couldn't do the same for beards or even eyepatches.
