The Sea of Thieves is a haven for pirates from all over. Even just one of the worlds out there beyond its shores has sent many brave (or very lost) souls sailing through the Devil’s Shroud from Europe, the Americas, even the Far East. We here at the Pirate Times think that sort of variety keeps life interesting, but it can lead to the occasional misunderstanding.

That’s where pirates like Beardageddon come in, as he recently stepped up to welcome a crew of fresh-faced young Frenchmen to the seas! Those sprightly lads were very pleased with Beardageddon’s gifts of valuable skulls, and made a token gesture in return… of a nice ripe banana.

Though language remained a barrier, Beardageddon established quite a rapport with the newcomers, aided by his multilingual crew. It just goes to show that the Sea of Thieves can be a very inclusive place with a little effort. Yes, it’s true that almost any approach to improving your own circumstances is valid in a world where pirates rule the waves. But respecting the Pirate Code and showing a little courtesy to fellow sailors never hurt anyone. They’ll still be there if you decide to loot and sink them later…
