[Q]: What was your introduction to the world of games?

[A]: I started gaming from a VERY young age. My first consoles were the Sega Master System and the NES, I particularly loved Sonic and Super Mario! I used to love giving my siblings the unplugged controller so they’d think they were playing when in fact it was me!

[Q]: How did you become part of the Sea of Thieves community?

[A]: I started getting involved with the community after being raided by BoxyFresh. I was doing some Tall Tales with my crew when the raid alert went off and all hell broke loose! After this, Sea of Thieves became my main focus and I started taking part in community events and co-hosted one for charity. I've always loved fundraising for charities and Sea of Thieves provides a creative and fun way to hold tournaments and events to do just that! We raised £1145 for GOSH Charity during the KEG event, and a further £1100 for Mind during the Last Ship Standing event!

[Q]: How did creating content become your ‘thing’?

[A]: I started streaming just over two years ago. This was initially just a hobby alongside my full-time job working from home. Over time, my community grew and we started holding large multiplayer days for Crusader Kings 2. I love planning community events so this was great for me to be able to offer something for the whole community to play together!

After some time, Crusader Kings 3 was announced, for which we did some fundraising for the National Autistic Society, which resulted in me being tattooed when we reached our goal! The National Autistic Society is a cause close to my heart as my son was diagnosed with autism at a young age and I wanted to do something to help families in a similar situation to us.

I started streaming Sea of Thieves in late 2020 and fell in love immediately. Once I made this transition, my community also fell in love with the game and has grown at an alarming rate! I took the decision to stream full-time shortly after I was made a Sea of Thieves Partner and I’ve never been happier!

[Q]: How do you decide what kind of content to create?

[A]: To be honest we don't tend to make ‘plans’. The Sea of Thieves is so unpredictable that we tend to just go where the wind takes us! Even on the days we do make plans, they never ever work out how we want them to, but to me this is the beauty of Sea of Thieves. You never know how your day will turn out and I love that about the game!

[Q]: What are some of the challenges you’ve faced while creating content?

[A]: Trying to balance my real life with streaming and content creation! There is always a video to edit or emotes to update. I’m always trying to improve the viewer experience and upgrade my content, so learning to manage a house and child alongside my content platforms and engaging with my community (The Fowl Farm) – it’s a delicate act! Since going into content creation full-time, I’ve been very much just making it up as I go along... but so far things are working well!

[Q]: What different channels do you have?

[A]: My main channel is my Twitch which I do full-time and I’ve recently started using YouTube and TikTok, as well as Twitter and of course my community Discord, which I’m always using to stay in touch with my community.

[Q]: What’s been your most memorable Sea of Thieves moment so far?

[A]: My most memorable day was when we were doing Tall Tales and bumped into LOADS of Sea of Thieves Partners. I was sailing with Kharites, BaahRamEwe and MyTeo when we ran into BoxyFresh, Beardageddon, ZGPhoto, TazedAndConfused, OctagonRon and Azuki, and we had an epic battle which lasted about three hours! It was so much fun, and we then went and did Glitterbeard together. It was my first time doing the final part of Glitterbeard and it was a genuine pleasure to do this with so many streamers I admire and look up to!

[Q]: What do you enjoy most about the game now, and what are you looking forward to in future?

[A]: My favourite part about the game is the randomness of encounters and blasting my crewmates with blunderbombs! I love how different every day is even though we're playing the same game – you can never predict how any interaction will pan out. I love meeting people on the seas and making new friends! Sea of Thieves is just such a unique game in that respect, you never know what will happen once you hit ‘Set Sail’.

As for the future, I’m excited to see how the game will develop and what the new Seasons will bring. The last update was an INCREDIBLE treat! I love Pirates of the Caribbean and it was SO unexpected!

[Q]: What’s something you’re particularly proud of accomplishing in gaming?

[A]: Once I was made a Sea of Thieves Partner, The Fowl Farm members and I decided to have a night just for us off stream. We called it the ‘Booze Cruise’. We all met up at an Outpost and sailed to every single tavern on one ship, with each Outpost bringing a new toast about our community and what it means to them. This was a particularly moving experience for me, it was amazing to hear just how much The Fowl Farm means to the people within it. We then did Glitterbeard again together, and it was just a perfect night of love, fun and unity. A real bonding experience for the community!

Also, my First Mate (BaahRamEwe) and I currently hold the world record for the most chickens collected on a Sloop. In 10 hours we collected 127 chickens, and this earned us the ever-elusive hat of Unfeasibly Glorious Fame!

127 Chickens on a Sloop!

Duration 5:23

[Q]: How did you come up with your channel name?

[A]: I’m a MASSIVE Game of Thrones fan (we don’t talk about the last season). I have pet chickens, so one day I was sent a gift from my other half of a teacup and saucer with chickens on it, with a gift card that read “To The Mother of Chickens” and it just stuck!

[Q]: What do you like to get up to when you’re not streaming?

[A]: You’ll usually find me either working on stream things, chatting with The Fowl Farm or playing Sea of Thieves. Piracy is a full-time occupation y’know! I also love to spend time with the chickens in the garden and I love to travel (even though I’m terrified of flying). This hasn’t been possible as of late but I’m hoping to start booking trips again soon!

[Q]: What advice would you give to a new content creator?

[A]: My advice is always to make friends, TURN OFF YOUR VIEWER COUNT and have fun! If you’re not enjoying the game you’re playing, I promise you that your viewers can tell. It’s always best to make sure you’re playing games you love!

[Q]: What’s one thing you would advise a content creator not to do?

[A]: Don’t engage in toxic encounters! Even if the people watching think it’s ‘good content’, don’t give these people a platform for this sort of behaviour.

[Q]: Could you give us one more random fact about yourself?

[A]: I used to live in Turkey and whilst there, I had two pet tortoises named Cow and Chicken!
