If RARE adds more darts types (I want more tools), there maybe some balance and utility issues.
Balance: Additional dart types make the blow pipe too powerful.
Solution: All blow pipes start each session with the current default set. At the ammo
box you can either reload via a single click, or press to hold while the pipe is equipped to pull up all the options. You can then select which darts your pipe has.
Utility: Additional dart types don`t make the blow pipe too powerful, but too unwieldy.
Soluion: Make the blow pipe ammo type have a stash option like maps. Players cycling through dart types only cycle through those on the main page. If this option impacts balance, a minimum number can be required for the main set.
New Dart Types:
Sleep or gig dart: Useful for stopping actions like repairing, cannoning, raising anchor.
Limp: useful to either allow players to catch or escape from other players.
Grog: player throws up on self, obscures view.
Sound dart: hits ladder makes boarding sound, hits capstain sounds like anchor drop, player stops them hearing certain sounds.
Minic dart change: minic NPC means that type will not attack you, your player tag is hidden.
