Guys, getting a skeleton in this game is real.
Even if a much stronger opponent approaches you, and you sit on the ferry the whole battle.
Even if everyone runs out of cores, boards and food.
Even if the battle lasts more than 2 hours, and you are already tired of sailing one after another.
Even if a kraken, megaladon, any armada or player's ship joins your battle.
Even if you are a lone sloop, and someone tries to take you out of the battlefield. (Maybe I was just lucky, but all the times they tried to take me out of the circle, the streak was mine, even when I couldn't do anything to him at all. I just dropped anchor before this guy had time to kill me).
Even if you are going to sell your watch, but suddenly the battle begins.
Even if you are kicked out of the server, and your ship has several flags, and when you try to return to the session, some error appears.
Even if you meet 1 or many crews who suddenly, out of nowhere appear on your ship and kill you before you can come to your senses. these guys have a special ability to shoot and hit you through the walls of the ship with small arms (don't forget to record these fights and send them to support). I had this happen to me 1 time, support quickly processed my report. thank you to them.
Believe me, everyone goes through all this to get their skeleton.
Nobody likes to be in an unequal battle and, most likely, drown. I can't even count exactly how many times my team had to fight with players who had a golden curse of a skeleton or a ghost. And we don't have such a curse at all, not even a noob skeleton. Yes, it's annoying.
And there can also be a series of failures when despair takes over, and you already know at the moment of voting for the fight that you will lose. Don't dive. Just find another entertainment at sea. And as soon as you are morally ready to enter the battle, then continue.
Today my ritual finally happened. And everything I wrote above, it all happened to us. I read a lot of comments on this forum about the terrible state of pvp. Many angry comments echoed my feelings when I had to find myself in an unfair situation. And there was one question: "Did they all manage to get their curse?". I'm afraid not. Most likely, many left this game because the goal was too unattainable. But again, believe me, it is possible. And it really is not as difficult as it seems when you are somewhere halfway there.
Good luck in your battles!!!
