@noleadge96 i was thinking it could be a new system to drive pvp as there would always be a reward for sinking people even if they have no reward also it would bring the whole player base back into the same server and could use arena just for actual competition cause as of right now australia and other regions have to play on much higher and unfair pings

A alternative approach would be every player has a bounty score, you put up the reapers mark it displays you crews bounty, otherwise looking at a ship through a spyglass shows the score. Sinking pirates within your score range drops specialised loot, better loot if their higher, and only they're barrels if they're lower. The loot can only be devlivered to the sea dogs tavern.

Also introduction of sea dog voages or 'challanges' as a better term which earn specialized cosmetics and rep. Where taking a voyage marks your boat like a reapers only with a colour, pvp challanges like sink x boats and kill x pirates or kill x pirates with x. Which awards better rep and gold/dabs if you defeat other rival marked crews.

Doing all this will drive all the pvp players towards the centre of the map, makeing server hopping easier to find such players as well as the ones that don't want it an easier time to hang aroundthe edges.

Your not going to get to mess with Adventure and the incentive to kill pirates in Arena.

@barnabas-seadog its not about the lore of the game its about how its much more difficult to earn sea dog points inside the arena because of ping its very annoying when you cant play at your best cause you live in a country with no dedicated arena servers its not about lore its about fun and accessibility

I gottaback @Noleadge96 up on this one. Just some way of earning Sea Dog Rep would be great. As an Australian finding a game with good ping is impossible. Every match is on an American or European server with 300+ ping.
