With huge power outages across the nation, don't expect much action on the seas tonight.
I've received word from my regular crew mate that Minnesota and perhaps other states have taken a beating from a series of tornadoes.
Many trees were hurled into the air before randomly crashing down.
There is even a 10pm - 6am overnight curfew imposed.

Yea, we're good. Some damages to the home that I assume insurance will laugh at and ignore but i'm hoping will turn into fresh siding and such. The danger was pretty real - the whole region did well and the apparent rating of the winds weren't that bad as far as tornadoes go.. But there's still a township in my area without power going on day what... 3?
no reported loss of life - some total losses of homes and neighborhoods.
For myself, it was quite interesting watching a tree land 75 feet from my face as the winds formed the cone. Overall, could be much worse! People are generally coming together, looky-lou's annoying people have been the worst of the reporting I've heard.
Now that I have electricity after a couple of days of outages and the 'net is back up... expect to see me on tonight as usual :D
