My friend and I try diving for raids and keep spawning near other players, we try to avoid pvp and have to run while waiting 10 minuites to try again. I don't know if changing the dive wait time or spawning location improvements are better but it can be stressful. My friend and I would really appreciate you looking into this, thank you :)
Dive to new server timing
Avoid diving completely and gauge the threat level of the server you are on - any Reapers on Map?, any nearby ships in your area?
Sea Forts are a nice start for new Pirates - certainly what I enjoyed. Mixture of loot so you level up your factions.
Not a World Event so not advertised on the server, good visibility of the horizon and can be completed and loot loaded in 10-15 minutes.
Phantoms are easy prey for the throwing knife or Obsidian Skull.I've never raided Skeleton Camps so unsure if you are grinding a particular type of loot but I would say they are one of the worst event to start on given you are underground and vulnerable to approaching ships.

Why not just fight the players? If you're diving to a raid, you have absolutely nothing to lose anyways and everything to gain. Even if you lose now, you'll pick up tips, tricks, and even some skills to help you in future fights. Especially those you can't escape from
