Given I had played all the betas etc, I want to try an order of souls mission first because I've done so much with gold hoarders and a little with the merchant alliance. So may as well try something new and go from there. Not going to hunt a cracken, I am sure it will spring up on me at some stage. Still keen on tackling a Skeleton fort provided I can get a good crew together and work together at some stage.

The game will release in New Zealand 17 hours before we can play in the US. I'm sure there will be tons of livestreams and info.

@tenderestcarp probably shed a tear listening to this while I wait for my 3 best friends to finish up making their pirates before heading off on our maiden voyage, for real this time :P
really depends on crew size and my appointments that day. if i got the time and i can gather my crew we might be trying order of souls quests since i tried them solo in the early betas and its not that easy.
if i barely have time and am running solo, i might just do some treasure hauls and come back for more later with more time and crew. i am not sure though if i will work my way up evenly or just do single faction hauls- I'm not from the US 😜

I, too, will be establishing my mercantile business on the waves. Maybe we will be in direct competition, maybe not?!I want to work my way up the merchant reputations and soak up all the extra little gems that will be discovered in the full game... Looking forward to the little surprises that SoT will dish out in those forst few days... ;D
