Fix Lag

Yesterday, my crew and I were on a brig, doing Flameheart. 2 reaper-allianced brigs came over to contest it. The lag was so bad, I couldn't make it from the helm to adjust sails without stuttering. My crewmate goes to board one of the brigs, and the lag had it where he couldn't pull out his gun, let alone move.

Tonight we're on a brig doing FotD a few times, had this galleon come over to us MULTIPLE times, and each time they did the stuttering and lag was horrible.

I know they say during times of high-action you can experience hit-reg and whatnot, but was it too much of a strain for the server to handle 3 brigs and a world event? Or 1 galleon and brig at a FotD? I have no idea what's going on, hopefully it's temporary.

That is the usual way the SoT servers work, get used to it because they have been like this for almost 6 years and I don't think they are going to change it, especially taking into account the constant loss of players that the game has been suffering since S9.

It is true that these problems have now become much worse, especially HitReg, but the average performance of the servers has always been pathetic.

People from my country, Spain, don't even have their own server to play on, they connect to the one in Netherlands, so the ping is very high and the experience is horrible, it has been since day 1.

We are in 2023, playing at an average of 120-150 ping is unfortunate, but it is the experience that we constantly suffer.

There are only two options:
1 - Get used to the fact that the game is an RNG fest due to the connection and that very few factors depend on you (At least in PvP) so many times you will end up dead or with the ship sunk because the Blunder did hitreg or because you got killed by a cannonball that has passed within 5 meters of your character.

2 - Stop playing and pray that the servers taken from a landfill they have change and come back when that happens, which is quite unlikely.

unlike majority of games, if i wanna play with friends from another country, i can do that.
