Progression save

    Hello, why always when i quit the game i have to set my sail color and flag over again and agian , and why some chest disapearing from my ship for example chest with fruits... I'm still learnign the game so plz answer me why not all progress save..

    It's because each time you start the game, you're starting a new session. A new adventure. A new game.

    @dislex-fx so there is no way to star the session I played before? Cuz everytime i start the game i have to choose new adventure, my ship etc...

    Correct. There is no saving, as you're starting a brand new game. A brand new adventure.

    All your cosmetics, doubloons and gold are saved, yes.

    New adventure, you may want to change your outfit to fit your sailing journey? Some crewmates might wanna change it. Who knows what you will do.

    Nothing is "saved" Just your personal progression such as ranking for each Company and Loot you gain for it.

    @tanadiel You have to remember that this is an online game. Anytime a server has no ships on it, the server is gone. Including any loot you had, any supplies, and whatever progress you had going on a voyage.
    Also. if you leave the game and you were to last crew member, Your ship sinks. So any loot, supply crates, kegs, etc you had are now in the water. And anything in the water only stays floating for a few minutes. After that, they sink and despawn.

    @dislex-fx But option to save your ship loadout would be really nice. It is not critical, yes. But not everyone change their appearance every time before journey. Some one like to be same, to be recognizable.

    It's so every session is fresh with possibility, a new start.

    Some pirates never play with the same crew, so social interactions differ and boat livery and voyage type serve as a point of conversation with strangers.

    Progression saves would muddle this fresh start mechanic.

    You won't always be sailing alone (and in fact, most of the time you probably shouldn't be). You have to remember - the ship doesn't belong to you. It belongs to the entire crew. What if you start a session with all 4 crew members from the get go? If they all had their own preset, which would the game choose? You might not even play with the same crew from session to session either. So, to be fair, it's a blank slate that gets the crew to start socializing and figuring things out - and that will help you better determine whether you have a good crew, or a bad one.

    I wouldn't need any ship-loadout-saving, but a loadout save for clothes would be nice
