Helpful Skeletons

    I know this may sound crazy but would it be cool if there was an outpost that is completely run by skeletons that have separated from the rest. These skeletons could provide you with previous time limited items but for a price. This could either be a unique skeleton currency or ancient bone dust. The outpost itself could be a fort they have taken over or just a bunch of skeleton ships connected by planks of wood. You would probably do a unique voyage to gain the skeleton captian’s trust in order to shop at that outpost.

    @power-overlord1 This sounds really cool! They would probably have to look a little different from your average skeletons (have friendlier faces or something..?). Maybe make it so you have to fight your way up to the shop(s).

    @llama979 Maybe for each skelly you kill you get a special currency which can be used to buy things at the outpost

    The "previous time limited items " should stay unique. That was what they were, arguably, sold and presented as to the players that got'em.

    While not an very desirable outcome, it'd be fine in my opinion if they heavily re-colored and re-used the previous time-limited items tho. That would give newbies a chance for similiar skins while not decreasing the uniqueness and rarity of the outdated rewards.

    The best thing, in my opinion, would really be for Rare to pump out more skins every month instead of re-using any time limited items whatsoever. Why reuse when you can make new ones. This game is not Sea of Thieves to alot of people, it's Sea of Fashion. Earn gold and buy skins. Earn more and buy cooler skins.

    @power-overlord1 I think that would be cool as a "Legend Exclusive" content bonus. A new outpost that is run by skeletons sounds like a good idea but I'm not sure about the use of previous time limited stuff. Actually, I'd prefer customizable options for ships that are similar (not the same) to skeleton ships and have them themed for the different skeletons.
    Such as;

    • Golden Skeleton Set
    • Shadow Skeleton Set
    • Deep Sea Skeleton Set (Seaweed Skellies)
      Sometime along those lines. A lot of potential.

    You know this is a cool idea, but Rare needs to take this idea even further.

    I think the skeletons need to form their own civil-rights movement, and small bands of scraggly skeletons could be maybe picketing in small protest groups at each of the outposts, and when you turn in treasure, one skeleton in raggedy weeds could run up to your pirate and spit in your face, and you cant see for 5 seconds. there could be some momma skeletons pushing strollers and wearing a nice hat and strands of Pearl's, with a baby skeleton. A skeleton newspaper could be posted on the tavern bathroom with headlines like "Pirates Murder Our Ilk Yet Again!! When will the slaughter end?"

    I LOVE IT!

    I keep thinking "It must be hard to come up with ideas for a pirate game" but people just keep doing it and this is one of the ideas I hope get pushed through into their dev team!

    @khompewtur LOL! I like the addition, might be a detailed for the devs though, that'd probably take a thousand years to do LOL!

    I'd rather the previous event time-limited cosmetic either come back for future events, or become randomly available at Sea Posts.

    Isnt the point of skeletons and their lore that they're mindless? A skeleton that maintains a sense of anything becomes a Skeleton Lord?

    And they're usually in service of "someone"

    Also..

    Cheap attempt at trying to get limited time event items back in :/
