    These [mod edit] at Rare just love to ruin this game!!!! They sure know to just keep losing players. Long story short... stop playing years and years ago just cause the toxic community (mainly the younger generations) who love to just troll and grieve. Waited sooo long for private servers and they still failed at with the "safer seas" ROFL.... probably due to the kids who complained about how they would lose the people they want to go and grieve.

    Back to the Ashen Keys.... so my younger brother talked me into playing again... which I was clearly hesitant. Well so came late into the season obviously. Saw there was deeds that you can do. Well... come to find out the last thing I need is this Lighthouse Log. I am 9/10 for the sails. HAHAHA right? I mean... just before this i spent the $40 bucks on the Reapers bundle thinking i could play this game again. Literally the next day there is a patch to nerf the keys. [mod edit] just never ceases to amaze me!!! Never again will I attempt to give this game another try!!!

    I say this cause, last day before the season is over. I raided 7 Ashen Garrisons to look for keys in the desks, crates and boxes and 3 hours later..... NOT A SINGLE KEY!!!!! I mean even in the vault there is no guarantee for the Library Log!!!

    Look I understand how gaming works. I played WoW for a very long time (since 2004) and I have learned to take things in moderation. But for people who have real lives and jobs and want to try and enjoy a fun game to play (which I will no longer give anymore of my time to), its down right a joke to nerf something especially in the middle of the seasonal event at that!!!! The logic behind this studio is just insane!!! Push out people with pockets who would bring in revenue lol... i mean... if you want to generate funds for future development, then stop pushing away the players who are willing to spend real money!!!! Unfortunately I am unable to get my money back from Microsoft for the bundle back so i am going to just do a chargeback. Never again will i drop a dime on Rare Studios!!!

    You as an adult should know when to...IDK...be an adult? Dont let a game ruin your life just because things require you a gamer/player to spend little or long time doing something.

    I mean...any long time SoT player knows, there other means to find Keys...and stock pile them within...say 45min to have 10 of them. Just saying...

    There is at least 1 Ashen Key if you sail to a Garrison. There are no keys if you dive to them.

    You can get Ashen keys from Ashen Guardians or by fishing for one without bait if you're lucky.

    yea sadly it seems like the containers arent even worth searching on the ashen garrisons. they never have loot. the store room key could be in any of them. ashen key seems to more often than not be in the last room that opens the fort door. perhaps an issue with the oath garrison. i only did that one time due to smuggler ships always interfering while i was trying to learn the event and layout so i had to sink like 4 skeleton ships in the time it took me to complete the place. these smuggler routes are just annoying especially when no ones doing that content. so i did a handful of kinds chalice garrison last season since it was out of the way and no ships to worry about. that one seemed to offer more hidden ashen keys. but perhaps it was over all nerfed? i decided to wait till this season started to finish the log commendations, that way i wouldnt have to deal with that silly smuggler route nonsense. i just had to go farm ashen captains for their keys then rather than opening their chests just sold them and used the keys for the garrisons. its sad. especially since the only way to get the logs for the commendation is in those vaults. though i had heard that it seemed like you might find a max of 2 in a garrison i actually happened to get 4 in one. which was all i needed so perfect. i had brought 6 keys figuring 2 clears 1 key from each would be 8 total to be able to get my 2 logs per garrison. so pleasant surprise there. also found a mega stash... this season. wasnt sure if that was time limited or if mega stash is always a small chance? i dont think it was mentioned anywhere... or i bugged out the loot by doing the duke quest to get the relic? i dunno. also if youre doing a raid it changes all the loot to whatever faction your are raiding for right? i found on old sea forts this meant no loot in any containers, and the vault just had a little bit of faction loot. so stands to reason maybe raiding wont allow you to get keys to open the doors? and even if you could maybe nothings even inside? unlike skeleton forts i dont think the garrisons would despawn the loot so you wouldnt fail the voyage if you sailed off to hunt down keys to find out? i suspect it might not be worth the effort though?
