Hardly ever has a set really managed to capture the essence of piracy (other than bilge rats, seadogs, and possibly more notable other sets). This is specifically the pirate style I've been looking forward to having in the game for years. I'm specifically making this post about this to encourage Rare as much as possible to keep going down this path hoping you, the community, will agree with me.
The Prosperous Privateer, I consider to be the best Seasonal set ever released
I'm stuck in a tight spot. I too love the set, but sadly after trying many combinations with it I love my pirate just a bit more.
Prosperous Privateer would definitely be among my saved sets if we were allowed to save a few sets of cosmetics. Would be integral to my "captain's outfit."
I'll probably use the belt in my "crew" outfit.
I love the prosperous privateer set too although I prefer open jackets vs closed jackets. I like the shirt and pants to show, allowing for more design customization. but I also understand that the closed jackets allows Rare more flexibility in their designs.
In the end, it's a BIG win for me. I MUCH prefer the pirate-y designs that have been released lately. And yet, I would love to see more re-colors of all the basic sets. Still so much potential there.
And RARE....love the rust, sand, bronze color combos lately.
