Whirlpools & advanced krakens

    Whirlpools: Could we get some Whirlpools being added to the game, let's say a different kind of storm where ships could get pulled into and have to get out of before getting sunk by the center of it or even battle in.

    Kraken's: More different types of kraken's that could sink your ship by pulling you down like in the Maiden's Voyage-skelly ship. Make them more a threat then just being able to shoot their tenticals so easily or just sail out of their ink zone. How about larger Kraken's that are out there to hunt you down and you need to have a tough fight before being able to get out of it's grip before it drags you down to Davy Jones locker.

    @lysorr I like both of your ideas. They could even introduce the new krakens as part of a new adventure. They could add all sorts of new monsters and tie it to Flameheart. They could explain it lore wise by having Flameheart unleash the monsters by opening the veil.

    i like the idea of different kraken tactics. the whirlpools is good in concept but i can just see this being constantly in the way like many other pve mechanics. its nice sometimes to just sail quietly or do pvp without having a meg, two skelly galleons and a tempest popping up on you all at the same time.

    @lafrules Perhaps another pve mechanic, but let's say they're small one's that might pop up combined with a kraken at the center of it that tries to eat your ship whole, you could fight it and try to survive to get amazing loot?

    Yes, there is only one kraken currently roaming the Sea of Thieves. Rare could add new krakens and other creatures by tying it to Flameheart and the Sea of the Damned. Have Flameheart open the veil and allow these creatures to come through.

    @lafrules I agree, I love ideas like what OP Posted...

    But the worst thing that a lot of players can attest when PvP is a fun fight getting ruined by a heavily favoured PvE outcome such as getting krakened, or having a skele gally spawn on top of you spamming curseball..
