Cannon Flares should animate in shop inventories.

    Just as a thought, instead of just static images of various Cannon Flares when buying them (or even in your own Ship Customisation Chest), it should be animated to show the effect. From it firing from the cannon to its dissipation.

    Feel like this is a rather crucial thing, as a lot of the icons for cannon flares feel to undersell or oversell certain flares, with others just not looking at all like their result. So instead, should simulate itself in the menu, so people know what they're buying. Even more important as a lot of cannon flares are emporium purchases, bought with real money.

    That would be extremely helpful! But I’m not sure how Rare would get that to function. To my knowledge we don’t have any animated icons present in the game.

    Also on the topic of cannon flares, can the capstan be moved back in front of them in the shipwright chest? Still feels wrong to have the cannon flares in between cannons and the capstans.

    I would also like to rotate my pirate/ship when trying on new clothes/weapons/liveries I'm about to buy.

    Especially Emporium items........

    One of the biggest QoL update's i would like is definitely an improved preview system in the stores/emporium. Let me choose what kind of ship the Hull livery is being applied to, instead of just a default Galleon, and let me rotate it! Same for outfit pieces, and hell, let me select multiple items at once, zoom out, and see them all together on my Pirate/ship! Seeing a whole outfit/ship livery before i buy would be really convenient (And for the cherry on top, add a button to buy all selected items at once, rather than individually) This would be huge and very welcome personally.

    Well we have two options.

    1. Rare on their YouTube channel starts a play list with all cannon flares firing 2-5 times. This is prob the easiest method but some areas have YouTube blocked so...

    2. Add a ship (or three if you want one of each) at the Sea dogs tavern with one working cannon and its own cosmetic box. Since it is not a sale point (currently) and there are already cannons there will not screw the game up. The cosmetic box will have access to all cosmetics, with a note what you need it for. You can then see how all your cosmetics would look and work including flares.

    They still haven't updated the images of hulls to include the harpoon railings on some of the older cosmetic images after years of them being added. Do you really think they'll go this far?

    Also, all the Dark adventurer stuff needs a preview while we're at changing how the shops look, it's insane to think we can spend hundreds of thousands on a tattoo or hairstyle we don't even get to see before buying...

    They wouldn't need to have an animated icon, but instead could simulate it in the side panel where it shows up in big.
    Think like how they display emotes, by putting your character in that panel and animating them with the emote. Instead, it would load up a default cannon and have it firing the flare.

    The entire preview system needs an overhaul, but I don't think it should be a priority honestly.
