My friend has the huntress figure head and I saw that the figure holds two flintlocks. I thought that would be a great idea as you can already have two different guns. Why not dual flintlocks. They could use the same ammo bar so it drains faster. Even dual swords could work, which would take away the ability to block and sword dash. It would be cool to use two different swords or two different flintlocks. Also combat would be much more interesting and exciting. Hope you like the idea enough to see it officially become a new style of combat in sea of theives.
Dual flintlocks and Dual swords
@bugaboo-bill At least if Rares allows dual flintlocks they can stop trying to fix double gunning. Also If people run around with 2 flintlocks (doing 50% damage per hit) simultaneously they should think about raising the EOR damage to 100%.
Besides looking cool I don't really see the benefit in using double cutlass either. I guess one cutlass needs to be nerfed to make room for double cutlass being viable.
@domocon0
Double flintlock would be a kill from full health should someone be hit by both rounds, so no. Perhaps if it prevented any other weapon from being used, and they were quite inaccurate (you can't exactly look down two ironsights like that very easily), it could work, maybe also with a small damage nerf when used. Leave the target at 5-10 health if they're hit by both rounds, but leaving the normal flintlock unaffected. Duel cutlasses wouldn't be very useful, as fighting with two swords isn't easy or effective.
My thoughts were more about looking cool, indeed.
About balancing...
runsawayscreamingtired to discuss that :-)
Double EOR would be for sure imba.Nothing in the game should onehit you, even the Blunderbuss shouldnt imo.
