I've managed to get Gold Hoarders & Order of Souls 100% completed. I am 1 Shrouded Ghost away from having Bilge Rats 100% and a few Megs and crates away from Merchant & Athena being 100% also... Just wondering if anyone has beat me to 100% completion yet. :)
Has anyone completed SoT 100% yet?
Im working on the 100% but as Casual Player I’m far away from it and the Anniversary Update didn’t help me! I guess with Tall Tales there coming many new Commendations and with the 2 Trading Company’s coming aswell many many new Commendations, so I have much to do :) But my Plan is first to complete Order of Souls and most of Athena and then I’m trying other things like Tall Tales, Arena and the new Hunters Call!
@soggierwaffles - I don’t believe anyone has completed all the in-game commendations, that ghost meg is holding pirates back. With new commendations being added to the game regularly I can see this being a tough task to complete.
As for the Xbox achievements; many pirates have 100% these.

Completed goldhoarder
Completed order of souls
Lacking ghost meg for bilgerat
Lacking cargo and wood crates for merchant
And finally lacking animals, stronghold pieces, megs and skelly ships for athenas.I imagine the stronghold pieces will be my next completion. Hopefully skelly ships soon after. I don't care about the cargo since it's devil's roar. The animals I'll jump back into eventually and the megs will just come over time.
Even if I didn't have these commendations to concentrate on, I'd still be playing doing something because I just enjoy this game so much.
@king-deka The only tip I can think of is doing animal merchant voyages and checking every single barrel at outposts since A.) you’ll be delivering to outposts often, and B.) outposts contain the most supply barrels. And of course, checking any barrels you run past on the islands while catching animals and, while sailing, jumping off the boat to check any floating barrels. I’m at 47 banana crates, 38 cannonball crates, and....... 8 plank crates. I’ll have killed a couple shrouded ghosts by the time I’m a merchant shipwright!!!
@king-deka I had heard of a method months ago but I'm not sure how well it would work now and it would probably be really boring. Keep server hopping, searching the barrels on the initial outpost and of course doing any mission you find. If you don't find any, rinse and repeat.
@king-deka I bet having a huge discord friendslist helps, making everyone aware that if they find a wood crate voyage to send you an invite.

Wow that’s good! I have to do 500 animals for Legendary Commendation, didn’t started yet! But I have the 500 Cargos :) that was hard :D I’m afraid of the DR Cargo :/
How many ghost do you killed?
@Testakleze yea I tried this for 20/25 min Hopped on 5 or 6 Outpost, not a single Crate mission :(

I do like the rarity. A bit off topic, but I’d rather there be 5 needed killed to complete the commendation and a shrouded ghost hat locked behind the commendation.
@king-deka the crate hopping thing is best if you have 4 people doing it, or more even if someone has an alt they can use at the same time.
Aside from that the only thing you can really do is just constantly be checking every barrel as your doing a voyage or sailing around. Whatever you think leads to the most Barrels Per Minute, is the most effective way of getting crate missions.

Not even close, but it was nice to have been so close to greatness the other night. Congrats on grinding so far.
As others have stated, the Shrouded Ghost & Wood Planks Crates are going to be what holds people back. That seems a bit lame in my opinion.
As someone who has spent more time playing this game than any human being ever should, I think Rare should make the following changes:
- Increase the rate that Wood Plank Crate voyages are found.
- Give some sort of mission or set of actions that would result in a Shrouded Ghost spawning. I don't care if I have to sink at least 1 of each Meg type, complete 4 Skull Forts, and beat a Skeleton Fleet all in the same game session. I just want SOME PATH to actually seeing this beast, even if it takes me 5+ hours of gaming to get there.
As a side note, the volcanos in the Devil's Roar erupt for too long.
@quarbani They really are. I completed banana crates and cannonball crates shortly after the shrouded spoils released, but I'm only at 20 wood crates. Took over a year to get there and I'd say maybe only about five of those were after the shrouded spoils update.

Kudos to anyone with any of the factions closed. I chip away at it a little every day, side tracked on some. Working on closing merchant\athena out now... the snakes are few and far between. Crates, uggg. I’m not a fan of nerfing, but this being my second run at roar cargo, I’m not going to complain. It was pretty hard back in the day. I hope to close out Athena by the 30th minus the ghost meg :(
