Because of persistent disconnects its quite game ruining to have to start all over again if you are in midgame with friends. It should be possible for a player to reinvite a player (like the private crew idea that i have seen float around). This has happened to me three times in a night and basically ruined all my rewards.
Very dissapointing.
@xgodkevin @Yarrnor On xbox you can reinvite by finding the person on your friends list and inviting them from there, and you can do the same thing on PC through the xbox app. It's definitely annoying that there's no option for it in game, but you can still do it on either platform.
@yarrnor You can either get a reinvite from anyone on the crew either by them clicking your name and pressing invite or when you're in a xbox party they can select "invite party to game".
You can also rejoin yourself by browsing to your friends profile. If there's a spot in their game it should show up under the amount of years they had Xbox Live. It usually takes a bit to show up, but I use it often to just join the games of people on my friendslist.
Problem being that as it's not a private boat when we lose a crew member through disconnection their place is usually filled with a "rando" before they can get back in. This usually ends in us all having to leave and restart due to them refusing to leave or even then another one will usually spawn before our original crew member can.
Any ETA on private ships Rare?
@foofighter107 this is a good point, a private ship's session would be awesome that allowed you to continue your voyage.
@yarrnor Private crews are already in development, Rare just hasn't released a date yet. I'd guess it's coming around the time of The Hungering Deep, some time next month.
