Flying Ships

    I tried to search to see if this topic was addressed, but didn't find anything. Anyone know what's up with all the flying ships? Ships that just launch up out of the water, arc through the air (sometimes large arcs, sometimes small) and then back into the water. Some of them just go right under and vanish some plop back down like nothing ever happened.

    The imaginative side of me wondered if it's a Kraken mechanic that got loose from its virtual cage.

    @iqueyt Well apparently the Dutchman got a sense of humor. Some of the vids are hilarious .. guys standing on deck one minute, the next they're 100 feet in the air and heading to orbit. lol

    Meant to add it doesn't seem to matter if the ship is in the middle of the ocean or close to shore.

    The Flying Ships are properly a result of buggy math in the physics engine

    In my experience: it seemed that ships who beached would sometime get hurled into the skies.

    @emanuel-wynnn Math that buggy in the core mechanic of the game this close to launch would make me a little nervous.

    @mantonx2 While fighting another ship we would both end up about 20ft underwater for a few seconds. Still able to sail and fire cannons but I could not breath. This happened again and again till I drowned.
