So the game is amazing, have not found any problems with anything. The only thing is that there isn't much for you to spend your money on. The most is cosmetic stuff for your character or ship. What if there was a armory or blacksmith to buy cannonballs or firebombs or something. Maybe just sell a crates of 50 cannonballs or something. Just something more to spend money on.

And by doing so you put new players at a severe disadvantage to those who are veterans with piles of gold but nothing to spend it on. New players would be tasked on whether to spend their hard earned gold on that new livery or clothing piece they had their eye on or using it for supplies just to compete on the open seas. Vets with millions in storage would have no problem full stocking their ship just after logging in. New players would just become fodder and unlikely able to compete.
It skews the balance heavily towards veterans with spare gold so is not a good suggestion.
@dlchief58 I just figured there is so little to spend money on. There are many people including myself just sitting on hundreds of thousands of dollars and nothing to do with it. Once you buy all your ship cosmetics and clothes, theres nothing to do with it. I think maybe having like a casino type thing maybe having a daily spin wheel that costs money to spin and one of the choices could be like crate of food or crate of cannonballs or something.
