Hello Everyone,
Since this update has come out I have noticed people leaving before they sink with their emissary flag which completely gets rid of it. This is unfortunate for the people doing reapers bones and people that want to get the commendation. This has happened multiple times with my crew and I and it is pretty annoying that people are able to do this.

People Leaving with Flags
@burnbacon did you read the post at all? People who leave the game before they sink lose the flag from their ship completely. It disappears and does not float to the top as a little stick like you say.

Have not been able to verify but I would imagine that alt - f4 would simply treat it like a disconnect. Leaving the ship idling for a bit. Giving ample opportunity to sink it.

I feel like you've been jaded a few times to many?
Based on your comment you are considering a player aligning themselves as a Reaper Emissary and attempting to take someones Emissary flag so they can make some gold and reputation (Someone playing the game as intended) as harassment?

Because I see so many emissary flags lying arround outposts from people who forgot (or probably don't know) to put the flag down@galactic-geek Learn what an actual old school pirate was. That's what this game is based around. Rare what's to spout some b.s. pirate code that no one follows and there is absolutely zero punishment for it. True pirates followed the code no matter what and if they broke it, they were severely punished. Rare is pandering the streamers that are making PvP popular and are expecting no backlash from it.
