@mistcfrost Don’t believe it’s possible on a single specific emote, you can only unbind/rebind the emote wheel.

RE: Hey SoT community, have you noticed increasing lag spikes?
@personalc0ffee I’m getting significant rubber-banding; mostly when sailing solo since last update?
Trivia: Crewing with friends is almost lag-free
RE: rowboats and kraken question
I would say that as the effect stopped when the water cleared, it seems like it's an intended effect, otherwise everyone would hop in their rowboats, load 'em up and escape her clutches?
I completely agree - rowing slowly in the ink is definitely intended gameplay behaviour. If your ship struggles to move, the rowboat should struggle too.
My only feedback is the rowing animation should slow down to show that you’re struggling to move? We thought we were at a standstill - I’m sure we were moving ever-so slightly when we tried - there was just no visual indicator to imply any movement at all so we waited it out
RE: Kraken bug.
I think the Kraken fight on a Brigantine is essentially hard-mode now.
Since the update dropped, I’ve seen more Galleons and Sloops - people know what’s up.
The Kraken encounter on a Brigantine is rough - we were sunk twice.
1st time: All above deck, blocked from going below deck to bail and repair.
2nd time: Two above deck, me below deck. I couldn’t repair fast enough. My other 2 crewmates weren’t able to get her to detatch in time.
RE: Movable Ammo Crates
@fearinglocket36 I posted a similar idea to yours a few months ago (there was also a suggestion in another thread to have ammo boxes on rowboats) - it didn’t get much traction.
I think the general consesus was it’s too overpowered. Just learn the lay of the land; all the large islands and forts have ammo boxes there already; for the smaller islands - just pop back to your ship.
It’s one of those features that isn’t a necessity right now; maybe we’ll see it in the future.
RE: Kraken spawn possibilities?
@snipahhh The times it spawned for me were when we had high-value loot onboard and were heading towards an outpost. Might just be coincidence, but worth sharing none-the-less.
First time was Plunder; we had a Chest of Legends among Villianous Skulls and Captains chests onboard. We got sunk but saved the loot thanks to a rowboat.
Second time was Morrows Peak, we had Skelly-ship and stronghold loot. Sunk and couldn’t save the loot because we lost our rowboat.
