I'd like to be able to either carry more food rather than just 5 items (as you can have 10 cannon balls and they would weigh alot more than 5 bananas 😂) or maybe you could by a satchel/bag from the shop so you could carry more items? 🤔🙃

Also maybe being able to carry 2 guns as well as your sword would be good because you only get 6 shots 👍🏻

@r0binski Being able to bury treasure would, IMO, be OP - nobody would be able to find it. If I could kill you to get the map, that would be cool, I suppose, but then nobody would be friendly as the incentive to PvP just to see if you have a map tips things further into unfriendlier territory. Besides, this idea is largely mitigated by so many great places to hide loot already without having to go through the trouble of burying it.

Just had another idea (which may or may not have already been suggested) but what about the ability to be able to bury your own treasure as a stash point and then have you're own map to where it's buried 🤭🙃

@r0binski Yeah you are fine, you are being reasonable and that is good. I wasn't referring to you but I see what you mean. I agree that there should be area where you could get the ropes of the game since the average person I encounter isn't good at the game. Maybe a more in depth tutorial?

@jollyolsteamed very true what you say as that is the rule in life, if you want to be better you have to play against better opponents 👍🏻

I think the local play would also just be nice to chill out and sail about fishing, exploring the environment or what ever you lined without having to have your head on a swivel which I appreciate is part of the excitement to the main part of the game.

I don't think everyone would turn that feature on given some of the responses I've had who think it's a ridiculous idea so you wouldn't be on your own 👍🏻

I just think having more options isn't a bad thing and then allows players to play how they want to.

@duke-of-spire thanks very much, really appreciate it 👍🏻 we had another go today and used done of the ideas some posted here for tactics and some of it paid off so I feel we are getting there, slow and steady wins the race they say 😁

I've got the white flag up for now and hope that others might respect that as otherwise what's the point of the flags of people don't try to honour their meaning but we'll have to see 😉

@jofjjay that's not really what I'm saying. I'm saying it would be nice to have an option in the menu to be able to play the game just with your friends without being attacked all the time until you felt you were ready... Like training wheels on a bike.

It wouldn't mean that it would change anything for anyone else it would just be an option for those who wanted that so I can't see the harm in that.

Like GTA and Read dead online, newcomers do get trolled/griefed by experienced players who might be having alot of fun relatedly sinking those who can't defend themselves properly yet, it's fun for them because it's an easy win and easy loot but a bit soul crushing for the newbies.

Is there more reward from winning against an equal match or from taking a kids dinner money because you're bigger than them? It's prefer the equal match but unfortunately there isn't an experienced matchmaking facility on the game hence the suggestion of a passive mode with AI enemies like getting used to call of duty with Bots.

@mausgorilla4729 I completely get what you mean and there would have to be some rules to it i.e. if someone had started to engage then you couldn't switch on the mode until it was over our it was a separate option on the menu to choose and you'd have to come out of it to join PvP?

I appreciate it might not be everyone's cup of tea but that's like so many games that have different versions within a game they can choose from like all the ones in COD. I personally prefer Team Death Match but many like the other game modes like capture the flag etc.

Oooow.... That might be an idea for this game having a capture the flag in the arena mode maybe..... But that's just another off the cuff suggestion.

That's the great thing about us all coming together and brainstorming ideas because eventually someone will come up with a great idea that will stick that we will all benefit from 😊

Another suggestion if your on a sloop then sail directly against the wind(the slowest wind direction) Angle your sails square (default sail position) You can easily outrun any of the other larger ships this way. Unless they surprise you which they shouldn't if your checking your horizons frequently as I suggested earlier. Also take into account that Soloing this game is the hardest way to play. Finding a group of people on reddit or a discord group might be a better experience for you. You can also check out the looking for group section. This game doesnt really hold your hand which is part of the charm. I get what your saying about a passive mode but I dont believe its needed and has many ways it could be abused. Another option is to check out youtube videos on tips and tricks if your really unsure of something. You can also jump into the arena and practice your combat with 0 risk. Hope that helps.

@mausgorilla4729 PVE❤ PVP & PVP❤ PVE! Being a pirate is just better when they're together! Escaping attacks and cashing is more rewarding, stealing loot is more rewarding, alliances are more rewarding, everything is more rewarding!

This game is based on pvp. With this mode another player can't attack you any more when you switched on this mode. Can you imagine how much fun this player will have in future?

And how should it work?
You can go in this mode forever and nobody can hurt you and you can grind?

Thats not funny any more when all players turn on this mode and no one can harm anyone!

@pocketstealer So I see you would not like to improve at the game, fine by me. And if we are being realistic learning how to escape from a ship was not very hard at all, its literally just turning your ship around and going into the wind. Mobility took some time since back in my day we didn't have harpoons. Boarding is just jumping off the back of the ship spamming F while near a ladder climbing aboard and dropping the anchor. Anyways, yes, it is people like me who sink people in a pirate game who ruin this game. Good Luck...
