Well, do you really think the likes of Pace, Falcore, Beardaggedon or the likes need Rare's help to create content? They seem to have been doing fine without any of this stuff.

To me it feels like this is aimed at supporting people who'd like to get into streaming, making youtube videos etc. but haven't gotten channels off the ground yet.

So it's less fawning over the big streamers and more trying to encourage the next big streamers to get their start with Rare's game in my opinion.
