Are we going to see the introduction of pirate lords? To make legend status, you need to have 50 reputation in 3 factions. However, since the update, we now have 5 factions. So, should there be an award/ status if you earn 50 reputation in all the factions?
Pirate Lords Coming?
The only real progression in this game is reaching PL10. After that, in theory, you have "completed" the game. Yeah! You won! Put down the controller and go outside for some fresh air! :)
A lot of people don't like Arena and have no desire to play it. Rare are already getting lots of negative "flack" for hiding some of the PL cosmetics in Arena. I don't think that they want to make even more players angry by "forcing" them to do something that they don't like. Arena (which many players hate or have no interest in).
I'm not saying that Rare won't come with something beyond PL10 some day. Some kind of "Pirate Lord" if you like. But requiring players to grind a game mode that they hate in order to "win" is probably a bad way to keep your player-count up.
Just my guess.
I wouldn’t want to see anything like this until they actually enrich Pirate Legend more. Pirate Legend is in some serious need of a proper content update, they need to do that first.
Being 50 in all factions myself... I'm happy enough as it is.
But I would never turn down another "Gong" just to add to the collection :)
I never change my title in game as it is... so titles for me mean very little.
I know who I am... my journey and what I've achieved.
But if it makes another Pirate happy... why not?@chronodusk
I've heard that from many other players. What specifically can Rare do to enrich the current pirate legend status?@t-degennaro3106 actually give us legendary voyages that aren't just a collection of the three factions.
Have the Athena's fortune lair provide more than just a shop and a place to pick up Athena voyages. They promoted back before the game came out a pirate hide out of which your ship would be able to set sail, think batman's batcave... epicness! Well... that never happened.
Provide proper challenges where the assumption is that you are a proper pirate that knows how to sail, fight, etc. Ways to summon maybe some type of epic sea creatures, special battles, etc. there are no doubt enough ideas they can come up with.
Legendary captaincy is also something that has been thrown out there.
I bet there tons of ideas, it is about their priorities. A lordship is a meaningless addition as it currently stands, since being a legend is pretty much empty as it is. Adding another layer at this moment is a bad idea.

I read it again. It has 2 parts - I addressed the 1st part. One doesn't appear to have anything to do with the other. They're 2 separate ideas or thoughts that are, for whatever reason, not separated by different paragraphs.
If the OP is referring to something greater than Pirate Legend, then he has chosen a poor choice of phrase considering what SoT defines as a Pirate Lord. Also, being a shared world, it's not likely that we'll be lord over anything. We'll be captains of our own ships, at best and non-pirate legends at worst.
