Would it be possible to add a feature where crews could purchase crates of cannonballs and planks from the Merchant Allinace? I am finding that I have earned so much gold and nothing to spend it on.

Yep, buying supplies breaks the balance of the game, so nope! If you want supplies, you gotta look for them just like everybody else. Might I suggest the barrels of plenty that float in the water? There's more incentive to stop and take a look there now more than ever before!

@vito1712 while it could be a possibility you also bring a big concern to the table for this, whilst you and i have so much gold we could easily stock 10 ships this would highly imbalance the situation for the newer players. They dont have this cashflow and would be at the mercy of our fully stocked ships
