I would like to play SoT during my vacation in Spain and connect to the servers via a 4G connection tethering a mobile phone with a local prepaid card to evade the roaming cost trap. Does anybody know how much data usage you have approximately for an hour of gameplay? Surely the updates can be done somewhere with access to Wifi, but I will be out of reach of that where I stay during the evenings when I will play the actual game.

I'm not an expert, but it know people who already played using their mobile as a wifi hotspot.
the average data use won't be that much i guess.
I would say 10-50 MB an hour, depends on what you are doing.

Bill's guesstimate sounds about right. I'm one of those hotspot heathens lol. We get 10 gig a month, SoT is pretty much the only thing I play online regularly. I'm about 2days away from my data reset and I've used 3 gig so far. My kid plays with people and mic, so he uses more, but I rarely run out in a month unless I play Destiny or Neverwinter. Minecraft and Roblox will kill it in a week if my youngest gets on it lol.
