34 win to my 240 this best not be nerfed rare need to stick to there guns n kerp it at 240 but maybe the next thing they put in arena shouldnt be such a grind

Yes, so it would have been nice if mt weapons were added to the game I dedicated so much time to, rather than a garbage watered down version of it. They easily could have put it in adventure with pvp requirements, but imstead they hid it behind adventure hoping to get more people to play their lame new game mode to inflate their numbers.

Do you also lag like crazy on other games ?
If not, maybe raise a support ticket ?
If Arena is this bad, no one is forcing you top lay it, just keep to Adventure mode maybe ?

It's not as bad as it seems I got the 240 wins at level 47 it's more balanced then it seems

A few things to think about...

• Long term goals

Sea of Thieves is under the "games as a service" model. This game is going to be around for years to come. That means there will be goals with a lot of longevity to them. This happens to be one of them and you're going to see it a lot with Pirate Legend stuff.

• What part of the player base does this target?

It's a Pirate Legend commendation which awards Pirate Legend cosmetics. Your Legendary pirates have already proven to be the most dedicated players in the Sea of Thieves. That dedication will be followed up with more goals to earn for the dedicated player. Pirate Legends should be more than equal to the task.

• This game needs more goals like this

Sea of Thieves has seen nerf after nerf after nerf. Commendations and PvE threats alike, constantly getting nerfs to please the crowd who lack patience and desire instant gratification.

Those of us who want the hardcore goals have had to sit and watch as things get nerfed into oblivion. It's only fair that we have at least some lengthy/hardcore goals with cosmetic rewards to show for them.

Let Rare cater to their most dedicated players for a change. I personally can't wait until they add some crazy cool Pirate Legend exclusive content like captaincy and expanded customization for the captain's quarters.

It pulls u out of adventure for 24 minutes. With loads maybe 30 minutes. U dont have to grind 240 in a streak. It all depends on how u want to divide your time.

And 240 wins it is a good amouth yes. But doable for sure!
I made 240 wins the same time i hit lvl 49 on SD.
Grinded the last lvl since crewmates needed some more wins.

Personally they shouldn't have tied the Pirate Legends weapons to the Arena. It should have been some fancy Sea Dog set. I'm figuring they will come to their senses at some point...they always do.

I dont know mate. Those guys that got pirate legend doing only pvp is pretty impressive.

If you're not willing to get 240 wins, than don't. I can't get ugly fishing rods without fishing, so you shouldn't get stuff without 240 wins.

you're right. it should be 500 wins. 240 is too easy.

If OP wants two-hundred forty wins then he will have to get serious about it.

There are already options available to increase your chances.

Rare is in this for the long term.

Think how awesome this would be to achieve.
Probably more respect from accomplishing this than anything in Adventure.

Whether the change was implemented or not is irrelevant. The fact is that Rare either changed the requirement or attempted a solution. Either way, Rare decided to keep it at 240 wins

@captain-coel im forcing myself to because I want tje weapons. But whether anyone is being forced to or not has no bearing on the fact that it was a jerk move to lock them behind a lame new game mode rather than the game people had already invested time in.

@coffeelight5545 the change was never actually implemented... as in the change never made it into the game. you can find the thread, it basicly states “we are going to implement this at x date” and they backpedled it two or three days after that post before the set date actually arrived.

And you also forget it wasnt just people complaining that already had the 240 wins but quite alot that didnt have it already. One of the latter ones being me.

Rare decreased the number of wins down to 100 about a month ago but many people complained about that because they already made it to 240 wins. Because of this, Rare returned it to the original value.

I agree that 240 wins is too much but at this point, nothing can be done

It really is not that bad. The sword is too beautiful to just give away matey.

@general-noxxx it was a difficult grind but a lot of us have already done it only takes 120 hours you'll be there one day

@william-flint then dont do it. No one is forcing you too.
