Pro Fishing Tip

  • Islehoppers, splashtails, pondifish - do not cook normal or trophy ones. Only rare
    Cook normal and trophy: wrecker, stormfish, battlegil
    The rest - only cook rare and trophy ones.

    Saves you alot of time, if you want to make good money go do some DR Cargo runs. You get 1.400 gold for every crate turned in in perfect condition.

  • @bartho1omeus Just curious, what makes these not worth cooking? The incremental gain in gold and rep isn't enough to cover the time lost? And how is that measured? The fish are worth quite a bit more after the recent update, why not capitalize on that?

  • I'm a firm believer in cooking every fish before turning it in. Normal fish take ~1 minute and trophy fish take ~2 minutes to cook.

    Stopping at a big island or an outpost gives access to a second frying pan, so you can double up, and get them all cooked in half the time.
