ashbeard error is driving me absolutely nuts!

    hi there. i'm missing some xbox services from my windows 10 install. this means i cannot play sea of thieves.

    i've tried:
    downloading the .reg files and applying them
    doing the fixashbeard.reg thing
    reinstalling all xbox apps

    still nothing!

    i dont have the xbox live networking service. how do i get that back? it's simply not in services.msc. it's set to automatically start in the registry, too...

    There are 2 different apps.

    One is XBOX Live Thing that allows your PC to have the functionality of the XBOX.

    The other is XBOX Beta App that allows the Game Pass stuff.

    You have to download both of them.

    im missing the services. all the apps are installed, reinstalled, prayed to god, everything.

    Have you tried buying an Xbox?

    Well the easy answer here is, just reinstall windows. There isn't another option.

    A friend of mine also had a windows 10 install missing services because he wanted a clean w10 install. But it cost him because he couldnt play some games that relay on those services.

    Install an normal and fully w10. It will work then.
