Been wanting this for a while now. Total game stats. Across all platforms and players. Things like how many times each meg has been killed, how much gold has been stolen, how many fish have been caught etc. I just think it would be interesting to see

Some of these stats. were recently released in... a developer update video...? A picture...? I can't remember where I saw it.

Imho we dont need to make Rare's Job and start analyzing.
If gsme is fun play.
If not, don't.

The "analyzitis" of things is a cancer. It provides nothing to us.
What do we do with:
players get killed by another crew on an average of 11 times?

I die about 100 times more by skeletons or other Ai.
And does it matter?

Outside of commendations, there is no public stat-tracking, and for good reason - Rare wants you playing the game, not tracking who has the better stats (which breeds an us vs. them mentality).

I like to know of a few things.

  • Number of skeletons killed
    -Number of keg skeletons killed me
    -How many falls Ive died from
    -Distance Ive jumped/fallen
    -cannon balls fired/hit/killed by
    Little things would be nice to know and fun. God the number of times I been blown up would be amusing.

Rare doesn't need to release this. It's private data, and it's nice for them to release anything.
