@lleorb Not going to waste my time and reply to each individual thing you are saying, but for every point you bring up I for the most part 100% disagree with what you are saying. It seems the game is not to your taste, and it's not going in the direction you want to to be going. Seems like you are just ranting for the sake of ranting? Why bother? I've seen such a huge increase in game population and with each new update they have brought wonderful new game mechanics or things to do in the game. I think most of us can agree that a lot of these things should have been there closer to launch, but with where the game sits at the moment, it's in a really good place. Everything feels right, although combat could use a few tweaks here and there, I think they are taking it in the right direction. Very excited to see the community and the game continue to grow :)

I play open crews and don't always turn in the loot. Helping those on open crew changes the game for me. Help them with tall tales, skull forts, fishing. I agree loot is pointless as is gold. Need something to spend our gold on, but I learned to enjoy the little things.
The pvp is what it is. I don't love it or hate it.@lleorb It's interesting... When people get bored with most games or realize it's not for them, they generally just move on.
Why do people get so angry when they get bored with SoT?

I've been playing since the beta and I was really bored, the points I put are critical I have to the game, I just put all the problems that bother me in a single post, and I'm also not saying it's a horrible game, maybe it seemed like this because I wrote this post after a pessima partina in the Arena like several others that I had after the last updates.
I'll leave this game aside for a while but as for this post, do not regard it as a simple complaint, look at the points I put and if it makes any sense tell Rare.
@corvum-mortis I think q because this game arouse great expectations in me, since it is a game with so much potential. But Rare takes a lot to launch updates and even having some improvements they do not have as much impact on the game.
I remember the first DLC, the megalodon, a lot of time was spent for one thing so weak update, what should be an epic battle revealing great rewards was actually quite disappointing and giving only a figurehead.
and just to complement, do you realize that this game had absolutely nothing to do at launch? the options were, hunting chests, skulls and animals. serious, there was nothing else to do, not even the kraken gave rewards, say that extra content was added seems joke, what was added were things that should already be in the game on launch day, basically the game should be released the way it is today and only go adding extra content.
So I tell you without any doubts that this game has problems, and that it would not be alive until today without the gamepass.
I'll pause and hope it gets better so I can play again and have fun, good game to everyone.
I agree that crossplay should be released ASAP and I also think the weapons should have just been set so you can’t hold 2 guns. Just choose your preferred gun and your secondary is the sword. That’s balance right there lol simple. The stun is stupid and it reacts poorly near structure and is constantly engaging when it’s not meant to. If you haven’t realized this yet look closer it happens a lot especially when boarding enemy ships. Test with your alliance is easy.
@lleorb I am just as entertained with the game now as I was at launch. I've come and gone over the years, but I went into this knowing it was a sandbox and as such, expect no point... Ultimately.
All games of the genre offer some early, mostly meaningless progression. It usually comes down to your own enjoyment after you've played a bit.
I don't think that over playing the game and not finding enjoyment in all that it has to offer constitutes a problematic game.
I know I haven't found a game I don't get bored with eventually. It just happens.

Really? Just a figurehead? Because I distinctly recall not only getting the figurehead, but my 1st-ever drum, speaking trumpet, scar, and tattoo too.

Secondly , and that amazed me a bit , you told us all the things you dislike : game has no content , split up Xbox and PC, PvP is broken, servers put you down in Northern USA and so on,....But...You have all the Cosmetics that money can buy , and you have a surplus of 4 million Goldcoins, wich must mean you played from release untill now , almost on a daily base...but ...it seems that you don't like the game...
Why torture yourself so hard , Mr?...i'm sorry but i can't believe that you never had fun in this game , nobody can amass such a wealth and then say that the game has only flaws...i'm may be daft and silly but i don't know one person that would play a game against his/her will for such a long time and with such numbers of money in their pocket...

As I said before, this post was made after several frustrations I had with the game, the goal of the post was to put some things that I did not like or were messing up my game, such as servers, crossplay and others, as you said, I would not have played so much if I did not like the game, the problem is that my experience has been terrible lately, mainly because I have nothing else to do in adventures mode and when I go to Arena I am harmed by the things I mentioned.
@galactic-geek I was referring to the main prize given for killing the creature, which in this case was the figurehead, but even for the items you quoted, do you really think it was a great thing?
Remembering that Megalodon was not even added to that DLC, it was only later implemented as a sea creatureTry playing destiny you have more problems with that then this, this game is about your own adventure and the growth of your character, I remember the challenge of having to kill the meg for the first time and I had a blast! even if i never won it I had a blast with the teamwork. it was the biggest challenge for me and every single improvement is free. this game does have a few problems for me, but in the end I enjoy every encounter and tale that has been told.
