Rare "Are" Hiring?

  • @dyfrin In the UK, a collective noun that represents a group of people is used in the plural. So using "are" in this sentence is correct, despite us Americans expecting it to say "Rare 'Is' Hiring". Crazy Brits...

  • That's funny, as an American who was raised on ~90% British media, I didn't even realize this was an issue. "Are" seems right to me!

    But is really should be "Rare Arrrrr Hiring" . :P
