Unable to Purchase Standard Edition?

    I've got a friend who's potentially looking into buying Sea of Thieves but I only found the $50 Anniversary edition on the store for Windows 10... Is there perhaps something I'm missing or are you now forced to get the $50 version because of the update and anniversary?

    To my knowledge there really isnt a "standard edition". The title change is to bring in new players with the large content drop, and it is even cheaper than the regular price of $60.

    @dadigdude - As Archangel Timmy mentioned, there is only one edition of the game for purchase. This had a name change recently to promote the Anniversary Update released on 30th April.
