Field of View Question

    Ahoy Mates!
    I've got an inquiry to make about the "Field of View" option in the settings.
    Field of view

    So I want to set the field of view to its maximum amount but I'm worried about the warning they've got here:
    "Increasing your field of view will render more content on-screen which may impact your performance."

    You think my performance will go down if I turn up my field of view?
    I'm playing on an original xbox one btw.

    I'd appreciate any responses/insight!

    It will slow down somehow. Maybe a couple of frames, or maybe 20 frames.

    @eggamer13 so your suggesting I leave it at 78? (which is the standard)

    @sgt-palooggoo What I suggest you is change it, and if you see that the performance drops, then move it back again to 78

    I use a high field of view with a faster sensitivity and its hardly a difference at all for me (xbox one)

    It would be nice to get a fps counter on xbox, just like pc players have access to. Then it would be possible to actually measure the changes during combat and action. Rather than just guessing.

    I've seen this request plenty of times, come on already Rare.

    I play with an XB1X and an SSD along with maximum FoV and have ZERO slow down except from my own network and server lag.
