Just did the devils roar fort and man I was a little disappointed. Once we got there we started the usual fort stuff. Raise anchor, raise sails, and start waves. Every wave there was 3 gunpowder kegs and instead of making it easier they killed us over multiple ways slowing down the whole process immensely. During the fort we got about 3 eruptions that were 5 mins max apart from each other. The fort is a good idea but it doesn't have a good incentive, it practically has the same payoff as a normal fort but triple the time and effort.
Here are some things that could make it meaningful:
- Ashen Stronghold chest, Ashen stronghold skull and ashen bone dust
- Maybe a small % chance of getting the Wonderous Box of Secrets in the Hold
- Lava skeleton type that has a water weakness (just an idea)
- New commendations or titles e.g. "Molten Fort Raider"
I also think in general to make devils roar less stressful, you need to change the aimbot fireballs. Love your work guys and im keen for the anniversary update content coming soon :)
