They're gonna need to increase the power factor on the NPC's and the frequency of At sea events by like 10X to make the game even remotely challenging as a purely PVE game.

As PVE goes, this game is ridiculously easy. Sea of Thieves is a PVE/PVP hybrid, meaning a bulk of the difficulty in the game comes from the competition you and your crew faces by dealing with and preparing for to deal with other players.

PVP is every bit a component of Sea of Thieves, even if you avoid doing it; that still determines how much time you get to spend on the events you're doing. It determines how much supplies you need, what weapons you consider using because PVP happens..

It also determines how "Ready" you need to be regarding your ship, how much man power you can commit to on shore events and everything regarding the game.

Segregating into a PVE only option reduces the difficulty by easily 90%.. maybe 95% because the majority of the challenge is the other players.

I keep getting skeletons spawning when I am trying to dig up chests. Also skeleton ships and the Kracken interupt my voyages too. Can we please remove those as well? Maybe volcanos... especially those cannons on the islands

@xxmadmonkey2001 I agree. I would also like to play in peace when playing a solo ship. There is nothing anyone can really do to defend themselves properly on their own
