Is it possible to enable us to had the option to customize the item wheel?

I think most of the experienced players have realized that an Xbox controller has some unused buttons. A PC has hotkey options, but on the controller second page item wheel items take longer.

It’s not big, but having 1 musical instrument for snakes, and perhaps a megaphone would be welcome addition to replace two of the items I have already hotkeyed

You can set those extra buttons in your settings. I currently have left d pad for planks, right d pad for cannonballs, and right stick for the lantern (pesky shadow skeletons). You're still very limited, but at least it helps a bit.
