It'd be nice to have a central safe area in game such as an island towards the middle of the map where you can meet other pirates on your server, form alliances, goof off, etc... It would need to be impossible to harm other players in this area as trolls would be rampant otherwise. The point would not be to loot or gather supplies at this island but rather to form alliances, meet other players, start voyages, etc...

I find that in Athena's fortune there is an unwritten code amongst legends to not attack eachother. Every time I go down there and there are other legends that we never seem to engage eachother in combat but instead talk over gamechat and even form alliances. I think that might be the best we can get. I'm curious to see if they are going to make a safe area in arena.
@darthmaxor1991 I hope they expound on that. Especially for the large number of folks who are far from Pirate Legend (me).
