For example, there was another player ship that we had just taken out after a riveting and, in the end, successful battle. However, almost immediately, our ship was attacked by a kraken. Because of our recent battle, we had next to no resources. While the kraken is, by itself, an awesome and challenging foe/boss on the high seas, the fact that this is not nearly the first time this has happened to me while playing, and it makes me sad. Same with the megalodon, but it's not nearly as bad. There is also a chance that it is a timing thing, but that's just from what I've seen. It's unfortunate too, because we all really enjoy the game for what it is, and it sucks when we have this occur to us.

Kraken is really spawning too often, same with the sharks and the ghost ships. I had Reaper flag on, following a Brig, with 3 players on it, me solo, Guess what. Kraken shows up, ghost ship shows up, megashark attacks. Nice.

We took it out the first time as we needed the final kill for the commendation, and simply fled the rest.

Get your sails full billow and you will be out of the ink in a couple of minutes, no problem.

I think the Kraken can remain as it is, along with the Megs. As for Skelly Ships, only change I would suggest is letting the Skelly Sloop loose in the wild rather than locking it to Fleet Battles.

Nah the krakens are fine. Although it would be cool if they were rarer just so they could be something special instead of it just being a loot delivery system
