Get good suggests that you died because you are bad. So in that sense it's an insult

Don't die suggests that dying is something to be avoided. In this sense it is just a factual statement with nothing in it that suggests that the person is dying as a consequence of a lack of skill or ability.

The inconsistency of the moderation here is about as funny as Rare following the Pirate Code against PvE only servers.

In my opinion one is not like the other. ‘Get good’ has been used extensively to tell people they aren’t good at the game and their complaints are simply because they need to get better at it. That is unfair and stupid because it implies that the problem is with you.

In this case, the black screen only happens when you die. @Genuine-Heather is known for snappy jokes, which is exactly what this was: don’t want to deal with the ferry loading issue? Then don’t die.

Obviously she doesn’t mean that, there is no way anyone won’t die and no one in their right mind would seriously suggest such a thing.

What part don’t you get? You can get rare m2:drives that you can plug into a ssd enclosure that has a usb 3.0 interface. If the on-sale price point for a m2 drive is abiut the same as a normal ssd, why not? Its not like the Xbox is the only application i’ll ever use for the m2.

No, I got exactly what you were saying but the fact you kept saying it was an m.2 drive as if that makes a difference considering the use scenario. If you got it on sale fair enough but it won't have the same impact as you'd expect using better standards than USB 3.0.

Reduce ferry time by 10 seconds. Make a mandtory 10 second black screen for everyone.

Last night we were attacked on our Galleon. Our crew were all one shotted and ended up on the ferry of The Damned. When we respawned (after a long black screen) we were instantly one shotted again or instantly sword dashed and shot as soon as we appeared. We kept on going to see if they would get bored of instantly killing us but they kept going for 10 minutes so we quit the server.
I don’t even understand their mindset?

Just had a fun encounter where we were getting one shotted as soon as we appeared back on them ship. All of us are Xbox players.

So please read what I said. Its a developer problem. There is a coding event when we enter the Ferry and there is one when the door opens. Move the player load into the world to the ‘enter the Ferry’ event so we don’t notice the load time since we wait on the ferry anyways.

I was not responding to your post. The two after your initial post said players could only solve it by purchasing a PC. Feel better now?

The black death is no fun :( maybe if no fix can we sink a little slower?

In my opinion your idea and Uberkull's will solve the same issue. Being dead before you spawn is no fun. I play on PC and it still happens to me. Having the loading time be shorter will help in your issue. Don't take my word for it but; The "advantages" between one another is becoming slimmer and slimmer each day. I don't think anyone can deny that.

Yet I have the best external SSD available right now hooked to the best external port available on the ‘worlds most powerful console’ the XB1X.

Which is made by Microsoft who’s first party developer made SOT where SOT is designed to be a console game first and then a PC game because of the whole ‘buy once, play anywhere’ Wimdows 10 gaming thing.

So MS is ok with these loading times on thier flagship console?

Somewhere Rare needs to improve. Even the treasure turn in code services are still falling behind to report back gold and rep updates. Rare has been trying to improve this since launch.
