Forum search function?

  • If there is a search function somewhere:

    • Fire your UX lead
    • Tell me where it's buried
    • Hire new UX lead

    If there is not a search feature:

    • Fire your UX lead
    • Hire new UX lead
    • Implement search feature

    Search bar location suggestions

    It's up top under the Community button..... just click it and the search box is right there, once into it you can select more advanced search options, but it's always been a little funky at best......

    Add it with the breadcrumb, or centered between New topic and Sort by.
    Search should always be visible/accessible.
    People can enter forum categories externally and never touch the main navigation element.

  • Click Community then Search bar is right there... takes a single click to find on any platform

    Search is always visible/accessible and your method through the breadcrumb would take just as much time as it does now!

  • @sshteeve Like I said, people can get directly into categories.
    I googled "sea thieves suggestions" and plopped right into the correct place and it's a common pattern to have the search clearly visible.
    I'm talking about having the search box visible and ready for input immediately, and not only hidden under a dropdown.
